Church And Prayer Tower Construction

In thinking about the building project, two thoughts come to mind. The first is it’s not about just building a church but planting a more effective and faithful ministry of GOD. The Second thought concerns the nature of that ministry. Our church’s purpose is to love our world in the Spirit of Jesus Christ. We pray for Christ’s love to fill us so that we might be a refreshing stream of faith and hope. That is our ministry and the goal of building two churches in the two less developed areas of Makkhanpur, Firozabad, India.

The project is part of a wider socio-economic development program and comprises the initial efforts of convincing, organizing, and encouraging the people by the Cherished By Faith Mission to support and build these churches.  The main activity proposed for this phase is the construction of two four churches buildings (Makkhanpur, Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, and Kanpur, U.P., Sonebhadra, U.P and Chandigarh, India) as a means of mobilizing the people in the community. The proposal shows justification for the construction of the church buildings not only because religion is an integral part of this rural folk, but also that the churches will be instrumental to the implementation of the other development activities, acting as a catalysis and initial triggers for action.

The team of CBF Mission has been working both target areas for last 5 years We are working for the people of God and teaching the new believers to communicate the message of God by organizing Sunday school activities, Seminars on Gospel learning and by celebrating and messages of the LORD Jesus Christ through different teaching activities.

Through visitation and surveys conducted by our team we observed the following problems faced by both communities in enhancing their belief and in becoming the followers of Jesus Christ:

The majority of the community is composed of children, women, and young adults. They cannot take part in any moral and healthy religious activities due to the absence of a church in either of the localities. The prayer towers are 10-15 km away from their area, hence becoming a big reason of their involvement in un-healthy and immoral activities.

  • Children want to learn about the Gospel of Jesus, but there is not any proper place where Kurios Ministry Trust India could conduct the religious activities on regular basis.

  • For Christian communities around the world, the church and prayer tower are a place of prayer, a visible symbol of faith and a focal point for the community. It is where the people come together to worship God, celebrate communion, learn about their faith with Biblical studies and sermons, and pray before the Blessed Sacrament. But deprived communities lack this blessing. Kurious Ministry Trust India went to visit people in both communities and shared the message of God. After our visits, the ministry also is convinced for the need of building and planting prayer towers in both areas of our visits.

Need of the Project:

Moving forward in the love of Christ, the building and strengthening of the relationship between communities and God will be greatly enhanced and for His glory. There is a deep need to plant 4 prayer towers in these areas.
